Dr. Tongalp Tezel is an internationally known surgeon-clinician-scientist and recognized leader in the management of vitreoretinal disease. He serves as head of the Retina Service at the Columbia University Department of Ophthlamology. Also actively involved with research, Dr. Tezel's Lab focuses on investigating the molecular mechanisms of various retinal diseases. In December, Dr. Tezel served on the Program Committee and as a speaker for the first annual Precision Ophthalmology Conference.
